Khamphao Ernthavanh， Lao ambassador to China： Strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism， rural revitalization and vocational education

10月20日至25日，老撾駐華大使坎葆·恩塔萬(wàn)訪問(wèn)重慶，出席瀾湄旅游城市合作聯(lián)盟大會(huì)暨瀾湄市長(zhǎng)文化旅游論壇，參觀訪問(wèn)位于西南大學(xué)的瀾湄合作鄉(xiāng)村振興研究中心和重慶電子工程職業(yè)學(xué)院，探討重慶與老撾在文化旅游、鄉(xiāng)村振興和職業(yè)教育等重點(diǎn)領(lǐng)域加強(qiáng)交流合作。

21日，坎葆·恩塔萬(wàn)大使出席瀾湄旅游城市合作聯(lián)盟大會(huì)并致辭。她表示，老撾擁有包括瑯勃拉邦古城、占巴塞瓦普廟在內(nèi)的3個(gè)世界文化遺產(chǎn)。新冠肺炎疫情暴發(fā)之前，擁有730萬(wàn)人口的老撾每年接待超過(guò)400萬(wàn)外國(guó)游客，其中包括100萬(wàn)中國(guó)游客。她堅(jiān)信，將于年底通車的中老鐵路將推動(dòng)中老旅游合作邁上新的臺(tái)階。依托瀾湄旅游城市合作聯(lián)盟這一平臺(tái)，在湄公河國(guó)家參與支持下，老撾和湄公河次區(qū)域旅游發(fā)展將迎來(lái)新的機(jī)遇。

同日，坎葆·恩塔萬(wàn)大使一行考察了瀾湄合作鄉(xiāng)村振興研究中心建設(shè)情況。據(jù)介紹，今年10月初，瀾湄合作鄉(xiāng)村振興研究中心在西南大學(xué)掛牌成立，這是重慶市落實(shí)瀾湄合作第六次外長(zhǎng)會(huì)地方合作成果的重要舉措。該研究中心將在外交部、教育部和國(guó)家鄉(xiāng)村振興局的支持和指導(dǎo)下，通過(guò)平臺(tái)建設(shè)、人才培訓(xùn)、現(xiàn)場(chǎng)教學(xué)、線上交流、經(jīng)驗(yàn)分享、智庫(kù)建設(shè)、樣本打造、牽手行動(dòng)等形式，深入展開理論和應(yīng)用研究，為湄公河國(guó)家的減貧脫貧和鄉(xiāng)村振興貢獻(xiàn)中國(guó)智慧、提供中國(guó)方案，為打造面向和平與繁榮的瀾湄國(guó)家命運(yùn)共同體作出貢獻(xiàn)。

22日，坎葆·恩塔萬(wàn)大使一行赴重慶電子工程職業(yè)學(xué)院考察，參觀了留學(xué)生課堂和重點(diǎn)學(xué)科實(shí)訓(xùn)室，對(duì)學(xué)校人才培養(yǎng)模式和教育理念給予高度贊賞和肯定。坎葆·恩塔萬(wàn)大使表示，今年是中老建交60周年，兩國(guó)一直以來(lái)都是山水相連的好伙伴、好鄰居，很榮幸很高興看到兩國(guó)協(xié)同合作不斷取得重大成果，衷心希望未來(lái)能有更多的老撾學(xué)生到重慶培訓(xùn)學(xué)習(xí)，尤其希望在職業(yè)教育合作上啟動(dòng)更多務(wù)實(shí)合作項(xiàng)目，感謝電子工程職業(yè)學(xué)院為老撾人才培養(yǎng)所作的貢獻(xiàn)和努力。

訪渝期間，市政府外辦主任王雯與坎葆·恩塔萬(wàn)大使工作會(huì)談，就加強(qiáng)兩地經(jīng)貿(mào)、投資、物流、教育、旅游、地方友好等全方位合作進(jìn)行深入交流。

From October 20 to 25， Lao Ambassador to China Khamphao Ernthavanh visited Chongqing to attend the "Lancang-Mekong Tourist Cities Cooperation Alliance Conference and Lancang-Mekong Mayor Forum on Culture and Tourism" and visit the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Rural Revitalization Research Center located at Southwest University and Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering and discussed the strengthening of exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Laos in key areas such as cultural tourism， rural revitalization and vocational education.

On the 21st， Khamphao Ernthavanh attended the Lancang-Mekong Tourist Cities Cooperation Alliance Conference and delivered a speech. She said that Laos has three world cultural heritage sites including the ancient city of Luang Prabang and Wat Phu. Before COVID-19 outbreak in 2019， Laos， with a population of 7.3 million， received more than 4 million foreign tourists each year， including 1 million Chinese tourists. She firmly believed that the China-Laos Railway， which will be put into operation at the end of the year， will push China-Laos tourism cooperation to a new level. Relying on the platform of the Lancang-Mekong Tourist Cities Cooperation Alliance， with the participation and support of the Mekong River countries， Laos and the Mekong subregion will usher in new opportunities for tourism development.

On the same day， Khamphao Ernthavanh and her delegation inspected the construction of the research center. It is introduced that， in early October this year， the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Rural Revitalization Research Center was established at Southwest University as a key measure for Chongqing to implement the results of local cooperation at the 6th Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Foreign Ministers Meeting. The research center will， under the support and guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs， the Ministry of Education and the National Administration of Rural Revitalization， through platform construction， talent training， on-site teaching， online communication， experience sharing， think tank construction， sample creation， and hand-in-hand actions， etc. carry out theoretical and applied research， contribute Chinese wisdom and provide Chinese solutions to poverty reduction and rural revitalization in Mekong River countries， and contribute to building a community with a shared future for peace and prosperity in the Lancang-Mekong countries.

On the 22nd， Khamphao Ernthavanh and her delegation went to Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering for inspection， visited the international student classroom and key subject hands-on training room， and highly commended and recognized the school's talent training model and educational philosophy. Ambassador Ernthavanh said that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Laos. The two countries have always been good partners and neighbors to each other. It is an honor and great pleasure to see that the collaboration and cooperation between the two countries constantly achieve significant results. She sincerely hoped that more Lao students will come Chongqing for training and study in the future and especially more practical cooperation projects in vocational education cooperation will be launched. She also thanked Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering for its contribution and efforts to the cultivation of Lao talent.

Wang Wen， director general of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government and Ambassador H.E. Ernthavanh had a working meeting during the latter's visit， and had in-depth exchanges on strengthening the all-round cooperation in economy and trade， investment， logistics， education， tourism and local friendship between the two places.
