英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)，富有哲理，耐人尋味。在寫作中，同學(xué)們?nèi)裟芫o扣寫作話題，巧妙引用英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)，則可以提高語(yǔ)言的表現(xiàn)力和吸引力，使文章富有可讀性和文化氣息，讀來(lái)讓人眼前一亮。那么在寫作中如何準(zhǔn)確引出英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)呢？對(duì)此，筆者歸納了常用的幾種引出英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ)表達(dá)方式，以期對(duì)同學(xué)們的寫作有所幫助。

一、As the/a（n） old/common saying goes

Asthe/a（n） old/famous/ commonsaying goes，意為“古語(yǔ)云， 常言道，俗話說(shuō)”等，其位置靈活，可以置于句首，也可以置于句末。例如：

“The first wealth is health”，as a common saying goes.But how to keep healthy？ The fol- lowing tips may help you to achieve this.

常言道：“健康是人生的第一財(cái)富”，但是怎樣才能保持健康呢？以下的建議可以幫助你做到這一點(diǎn)。

As the old saying goes，Nothing is too dif- ficult if you put your heart into it. I m sure we can solve the problem if we all put our heads to- gether.

古語(yǔ)云：“世上無(wú)難事，只怕有心人?！蔽蚁嘈?，只要大家集思廣益，我們就能解決問(wèn)題。

二、As a/the popular/famous proverb says /goes

Asa/thepopular/famousproverbsays / goes 意為“俗話說(shuō)得好，正如著名/流行的諺語(yǔ)所說(shuō)”，可以用于句首或句末。例如：

Now I have made progress in my English. As a famous proverb goes， no pains， no gains.

現(xiàn)在我的英語(yǔ)取得了進(jìn)步，正如一句流行的諺語(yǔ)所說(shuō)：“一份耕耘，一份收獲”。

“Aninchoftimeisworthaninchof gold”，as the proverb says. In my opinion， we should spend our time and energy on learning instead of playing online games.

俗話說(shuō)：“一寸光陰，一寸金”。在我看來(lái)，我們應(yīng)該把時(shí)間和精力花費(fèi)在學(xué)習(xí)上，而不是玩網(wǎng)絡(luò)游戲。

三、To coin a phrase

To coin a phrase 意為“套用一句諺語(yǔ)，常言道，俗話說(shuō)”，既可以用于句首，又可以用于置于句末。例如：

俗話說(shuō)：“失敗是成功之母”，每個(gè)人都害怕失敗，但是只要我們能從自己的失敗中吸取教訓(xùn)和經(jīng)驗(yàn)，我們就一定會(huì)成功。

It is a common saying that 意為“俗話說(shuō)，常言道”，常用于句首。例如：

俗話說(shuō)：“凡事都有兩面性”，計(jì)算機(jī)既有優(yōu)點(diǎn)，也有缺點(diǎn)。

俗話說(shuō)：“眾人拾柴火焰高”。一個(gè)人的力量是有限的，這意味著我們應(yīng)該具備良好的團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神。

五、There is a saying going like this

There is a saying going like this意為“有句諺語(yǔ)是這樣會(huì)說(shuō)的”，通常用于句首。例如：

Thereisasayinggoinglikethis：Alife without a friend is a life without a sun. Friend- ship plays a very important role in our lives.

有句諺語(yǔ)是這樣說(shuō)的：“人生在世無(wú)朋友，猶如生活無(wú)太陽(yáng)”。友誼在我們的生活中扮演著十分重要的角色。

There is a saying going like this：A year s plan starts with spring，an hour in the morning is worth two in the evening. In the morning， we are full of energy and clear headed. Making the most of morning time to read aloud is of great benefit to us.

有句諺語(yǔ)是這樣說(shuō)的：“一年之計(jì)在于春，一日之計(jì)在于晨”。早晨，我們精力充沛，頭腦清醒。充分利用早晨的時(shí)間大聲朗讀對(duì)我們有很大的好處。
