一、try/do one's best

try/do one's best意為“盡某人最大努力，竭盡全力”，其后常接動詞不定式。例如：

Don't panic， he will try/do his best to helpyou solve problems．

不要慌張，他會竭盡全力幫你解決問題。

Try/Do your best to make it come true！

盡你最大努力去實(shí)現(xiàn)它！

二、go all out

go all out意為“竭盡全力，全力以赴”，其后多用動詞不定式。例如：

Let's go all out to build our beautifulhomeland．

讓我們?nèi)σ愿叭ソㄔO(shè)我們美好的家園。

We must go all out to study English well.

我們必須竭盡全力地把英語學(xué)好。

三、take great pains

take great pains意為“多下功夫，煞費(fèi)苦心，盡心竭力”，其后常接動詞不定式。例如：

Unless you take great pains to prepare，you won't succeed in the business.

除非你多下功夫準(zhǔn)備，否則你就無法在事業(yè)上取得成功。

She took great pains to educate her chil-dren.

她煞費(fèi)苦心地教育她的孩子們。

四、spare no effort

spare no effort意為“不遺余力，竭盡全力”，其后可接“to do sth．”或“in doing sth．”。例如：

He said he would spare no effort to servehis country.

他說他將竭盡全力地報(bào)效祖國。

We should spare no effort in protecting ourliving environment.

我們應(yīng)該不遺余力地保護(hù)我們的生存環(huán)境。

五.do all one can

do all one can意為“竭盡所能，全力以赴”。例如：

If you are in trouble.I will do all I can tohelp you．

你若有困難，我會全力以赴地幫助你。

We will do all we can to protect wildlife.

我們將竭盡所能地保護(hù)野生動物。

六、go to great lengths

go to great lengths意為“不遺余力，盡心竭力”，其后常接動詞不定式。例如：

They went to great lengths to make guestsfeel at home.

為了讓客人有賓至如歸之感，他們盡心竭力。

She will go to great lengths to help me im-prove my spoken English.

她將不遺余力地幫助我提高英語口語水平。

七、do everything in one's power

do everything in one's power，意為“盡一切力量，竭盡全力”，其后也可以接動詞不定式。例如：

The government will do everything in itspower to overcome the difficulties.

政府將竭盡全力地克服巨大困難。

We will do everything in our power to sat-isfy our customers.

我們將盡一切力量讓顧客滿意。
