【教學(xué)內(nèi)容】
用英語(yǔ)問(wèn)路和指路,學(xué)習(xí)問(wèn)路和指路的基本舉行。適用年級(jí):八年級(jí)。
【設(shè)計(jì)理念】
遵循任務(wù)型教學(xué)的基本原則,開展教學(xué)活動(dòng)。激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,提高英語(yǔ)的交際能力在現(xiàn)實(shí)中給他人和自己提供幫助。
【活動(dòng)目的】
遵照新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)和能力結(jié)構(gòu),掌握問(wèn)路和指路的基本句型,加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)言時(shí)間,培養(yǎng)幫助他人的意識(shí)。

問(wèn)路用的簡(jiǎn)圖若干張和警察制服
【活動(dòng)過(guò)程】
一、導(dǎo)入
老師問(wèn):“同學(xué)們,如果到了一個(gè)陌生的國(guó)家或城市,我們通常不知道要去的地方路怎么走,我們?cè)撛趺崔k?”學(xué)生A說(shuō):“Buy a map(買張交通地圖).”學(xué)生B起來(lái)反駁:“No, I dont agree with you. I cant understand a map in new place. I think asking the way is the best choice.(人生地不熟的,地圖看不懂,我看還是問(wèn)別人的好。)”老師順勢(shì)插話:“If you want to ask the way, who do you think is the most suitable person you may ask?”學(xué)生們答:”The policeman.”老師接著說(shuō):“OK,假設(shè)我們組織去了英國(guó)的英語(yǔ)夏令營(yíng),昨天我們到達(dá)了倫敦。你們是營(yíng)員,今天需要上超市購(gòu)買一些日用品,所以你們必須要用英語(yǔ)向英國(guó)人問(wèn)路,同時(shí)還要能聽懂對(duì)方的回答。今天我們就來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)用英語(yǔ)問(wèn)路和指路的句型。”
二、句型展示
用屏幕打出問(wèn)路句型:
Where is the nearest supermarket?
Which is the way to the nearest supermarket, please?
Could (Would) you please tell me the way to the nearest supermarket?
How can I get to the nearest supermarket?
在同學(xué)們掌握了這些句型后,再打出指路的句型:
Go along this road and…..
Go up this road to the end.
Go on until you reach the end.
Turn left (right) at the … crossing.
Take the first (second, third) turning on the left (right).
Go across the bridge.
Its between the … and the …
Youll see …in front of you (on your left / fight)
You cant miss it.
三、分組練習(xí)
由同學(xué)們自由組合,結(jié)成5人左右的小組,選定一名組長(zhǎng),組長(zhǎng)擔(dān)任英國(guó)警察,其余的人扮成夏令營(yíng)營(yíng)員。營(yíng)員向英國(guó)警察詢問(wèn)去附近超市怎么走。
A: Excuse me, sir. Would you please tell me the way to the nearest supermarket?
B: Certainly. Go along the street, and turn right at the second crossing. Youll se a tall building between the bookshop and the hospital. The tall building is the supermarket. You wont miss it.
A: Thank you very much. By the way, how long will it take us to get there on foot?
B: About fifteen minutes.
A: OK. Good-bye!
B: Good-bye!
第二天,部分營(yíng)員想給家里幾明信片,所以他們要去郵局。
A: Excuse me, Madam. Could you tell me how to get to the post office?
B: Sorry, I dont know. Im new here. Please ask the policeman over there.
A: Thank you all the same.
A: Excuse me, sir. Which is the way to the post office , please?
B: Go up this street and take the second turning on the left. The post office is just on your 、right.
A: Thank you very much.
B: Youre welcome.
四、小組表演
全班分成7個(gè)小組,剩余的學(xué)生和老師一起當(dāng)評(píng)委。根據(jù)各組表演的情況,本著公平公正的原則,參照評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn),當(dāng)場(chǎng)打分。評(píng)出優(yōu)勝小組,給予獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
【活動(dòng)評(píng)述】
本節(jié)課的最大特點(diǎn)是全部學(xué)生都被調(diào)動(dòng)起來(lái)了,課堂氣氛非?;钴S,每個(gè)同學(xué)都進(jìn)入了角色,不甘落后?;顒?dòng)中,學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)、講英語(yǔ)的氛圍很濃,切了英語(yǔ)的焦急作用。活動(dòng)激發(fā)了學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣,培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生的合作、助人意識(shí)。
