We all have moments of desperation1. But if we can face them head on， thats when we find out just how strong we really are.

我們都有絕望的時(shí)候。只有在勇敢面對的時(shí)候，我們才知道自己有多堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。

Weve all done something in our lives that we are ashamed of—some of us have fallen for the wrong man， some have let go of the right women... There are those who have humiliated their parents and those who have failed their children. Yes， weve all made mistakes that diminish2 us and those we love. But there is redemption3 if we try to learn from those mistakes and grow.

我們都做過一些自己都感到慚愧的事。有些人愛錯(cuò)了人，有些人錯(cuò)過了愛；有些孩子使父母丟臉，也有些家長讓孩子失望。是的，我們都犯過錯(cuò)，使我們愛的人離我們而去。但如果我們試著從這些錯(cuò)誤中吸取教訓(xùn)并成長，就還有挽回的機(jī)會(huì)。

There is a place in the church where sinners go to confess4 their sins. And once they are done， they expect absolution5. But the truth is， not all confessions are worthy of such forgiveness. Most who unveil his agendas deserve the condemnation they receive. Most who disclose revengeful6 motives marry the punishment that follows. Only the truly repentant at any right at all expect a second chance.

教堂里有一個(gè)地方供人們?nèi)プ鰬曰?。?dāng)他們懺悔完，都期待能得到寬恕。但事實(shí)上，不是所有懺悔過的人都值得被原諒。大多數(shù)秘密計(jì)劃敗露的人，還會(huì)得到應(yīng)有的譴責(zé)；大多數(shù)人報(bào)復(fù)動(dòng)機(jī)暴露的人，還會(huì)得到隨后的懲罰。而只有真心地悔過，才有獲得第二次機(jī)會(huì)的權(quán)利。

Family—there is nothing more important. Theyre the ones who show up when were in trouble， the ones who push us to succeed， the ones who help keep our secrets. But what of those who have no family to rely on？ What happens to those poor souls， who have no loved ones to help them in their hour of need？ Well... most learn to walk lifes road by themselves， but a sad few of us simply stop trying.

家人——沒有什么比他們更重要。他們是在我們遇到困難時(shí)肯定會(huì)出現(xiàn)的人；是做我們的堅(jiān)強(qiáng)后盾助我們成功的人，是幫我們保守秘密的人。可那些沒有家人可以依靠的人呢？那些孤寂的靈魂去往何方？窘迫時(shí)卻沒有家人的懷抱，他們只能自己堅(jiān)持走完人生路。但總有可悲的人啊，還未嘗試，就輕言放棄。

As I look back at the world I left， it is all so clear to me. The beauty that waits to be unveiled7， the mysteries that long to be uncovered. But people so rarely stop to take a look. They just keep moving. Its a shame， really. Theres so much to see.

每當(dāng)我回首過去，一切都是如此清晰。美麗期待著被揭開面紗，神秘渴望著被揭露謎底。但是幾乎沒有人愿意停下來看看。他們一直往前走。真是遺憾?。∮心敲炊嘀档没厥椎臇|西！

There are so many things we wish we could tell the young

我們有太多的事情想要告訴孩子們

Wed like to persuade them not to grow up so fast

我們想說服他們，不要這么快就長大

But they wont listen.

可他們從來不聽

We want to tell them the beauty fades8

我們想告訴他們，花容總有凋謝的一天

but they refuse to believe it

但他們從不相信

We warn them that their actions will have consequences

我們警告他們，他們會(huì)為自己的所作所為承擔(dān)后果

but still they defy9 us

但他們?nèi)匀徊挥枥聿?/p>

Suddenly the young can began to understand the world is a dangerous place

終有一天，孩子們突然意識到這個(gè)世界是危險(xiǎn)的

So its up to us to do anything we can to protect them

所以我們要做的就是，盡一切可能來保護(hù)他們
