一、教材分析
本課是九年級英語第7單元第一課時,以“制度”為話題,以談?wù)撛试S做某事和同意或不同意為交際功能,重點在這些語境中學(xué)習(xí)和運用情態(tài)動詞的被動語態(tài),并且復(fù)習(xí)上兩個單元一般現(xiàn)在時、一般過去時的被動語態(tài)。
二、教學(xué)目標
(1)Knowledge goals
①Words and expressions: license, safety, smoke, part-time, pierce…
②Target languages
Teenagers should be allowed to…
Sixteen-year-olds should (not) be allowed to…
I don't think teenagers should be allowed to…
I agree/ disagree.
(2)Ability objects
①To develop their skills of listening, speaking, writing, debating and cooperating skills.
② To train the students' communicative competence.
(3)Moral object: Let Ss know the rules, talk about what they are allowed to do, then obey rules. Help students have a good habit in their life.
(4)Teaching key points
①Key vocabulary in this period.
② Master the structures in Grammar Focus.
③ Improve Ss' listening and speaking skills.
(5)Teaching difficult points:
①How to improve Ss' listening ability.
②Make conversations using the structures in the passive voice of modal verbs.
三、教學(xué)設(shè)計過程
Step 1 Revision & Leading-in
1.復(fù)習(xí)被動語態(tài)
課件上導(dǎo)出5題上個單元被動語態(tài)的填空題,幫助學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)一般現(xiàn)在時和過去式的被動語態(tài)。如:
The telephone ___________(invent) by Bell in 1876.
The trees may ____________(plant) in spring.
(設(shè)計說明:本課是講情態(tài)動詞的被動語態(tài),被動語態(tài)對于九年級的學(xué)生來說是比較難的知識點,只有通過不斷地練習(xí),幫助加深印象。)
2. 預(yù)習(xí)檢測
檢測學(xué)生對于本課的預(yù)習(xí)情況,側(cè)重于重點短語。根據(jù)漢語提示寫出中文,如:(1)被允許去干……(2)應(yīng)該(不)被允許干……(3)與朋友們一起出去……(4)一份兼職工作等等13個短語。
(設(shè)計說明:本校英語課一周只有5節(jié),只靠課堂的45分鐘是遠遠不夠的,所以我們在課后側(cè)重于學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí),為了檢測學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)效果,幫助學(xué)生在課堂中更容易找出自己的難點,預(yù)習(xí)檢測是必要的。)
3.新課導(dǎo)入
Show a video to students, then ask “What will the father say?”
In this video, a son plays guitar so loudly, the noise makes others annoyed, so his father goes upside to knock at the son's door.
T: In our daily life, there are many rules in our school or at our home. First, let's get to know them.
(設(shè)計說明:本課所采用的視頻夸張有趣,容易吸引學(xué)生注意力,并且用視頻導(dǎo)入新課能夠激起學(xué)生對于本課的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。)
Step 2 Pre-task
1. Talk about rules
Show a picture on the screen. Some students break rules in the classroom, students will talk about these behaviors, then they will give us rules using can't, don't …. Then the teacher grasp this chance to lead new phrases: allow sb to do sth/ allow to doing sth.
Use different ways to express what we are allowed to do or not: If we can do our homework in our group, that is, We are allowed to do our home-work in our group.=We should be allowed to do our homework in our group.
(設(shè)計說明:通過復(fù)習(xí)舊知識點,情態(tài)動詞can't do , shouldn't do…導(dǎo)入知識點,用同義句轉(zhuǎn)換的形式幫助學(xué)生們練習(xí)不同的表達方法,并導(dǎo)入本課重點句型。)
2. Agree or disagree
Show some pictures about students' behaviors. Then students talk about these activities to practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.

Students say agree or disagree.
(設(shè)計說明:使用圖片展示,訓(xùn)練本課重點句型,幫助學(xué)生樹立是非觀念。)
Step 3 While-task
1. Finish 1a
Read the statements below. Circle A for agree or D for disagree.
Ask students to tell teacher what their attitude toward each sentence is, ask students to raise their hands to show which things are or aren't allowed to do.
Then students explain each sentence, at the same time the teacher will give some help and exercise.
如:(1)辨析:sixteen-year-olds,sixteen-year-old與 sixteen years old.(2)worried的用法。(3)get ones ears pierced 意為“打耳洞”,此處get為使役動詞,相當(dāng)于make和have,意為“使;讓”?!癵et / have+賓語+過去分詞”意為“使某事被做”或“讓某人做某事”等等語法講解。
(設(shè)計說明:幫助學(xué)生訓(xùn)練重點句型“should (not) be allowed to”,并談?wù)撟约簩τ谀男┠軌蜃瞿男┎荒軌蜃霭l(fā)表自己的意見;對于語法講解,讓學(xué)生展示講解,老師起輔助作用,在需要時進行補充講解,可以檢測學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)效果,并且給學(xué)生更多的舞臺展示自己。)
2.Listen to the tape, finish 1b
Listen and circle T for true or F for false. Then ask one of students to check the answers.
(設(shè)計說明:訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生聽力,并訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生對于本課重點句型在口語中的理解和運用。)
3.Do a report
1.Make conversations
Show some activity pictures on the screen, and give some phrases. At the same time, the teacher shows a model on the screen, which can help students do conversations easily.
(設(shè)計說明:兩人一組活動,不僅訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生的口語能力,而且訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生合作與交流的能力。)
2.Make a report
As a teenager, she should (not) be allowed to ……
(設(shè)計說明:此時把人稱換成第三人稱加大了難度,實現(xiàn)了從句子到文章,學(xué)生在小組合作中,解決自己的難點和困惑,做報道活動中可以幫助學(xué)生更好的訓(xùn)練了今天所學(xué)的內(nèi)容。)
Step 4 Post-task
Summarize the important points and difficult points of this period.
Go through the new words and Grammar Focus with the whole class. Then ask them what we have learnt in this class. Lead the Ss to point out the key words and sentences by themselves.
(設(shè)計說明:These activities will help to cultivate the students' ability to analyze, practice, and innovate, and meanwhile strengthen the cooperation among themselves.)
Step 5 Homework
①Review the important points of this period.
②Write an article about your family rules.
四、教學(xué)反思
1.本節(jié)課的教學(xué)設(shè)計采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)模式,努力貫徹以學(xué)生為主體的教學(xué)理念,注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生團隊合作意識,注重調(diào)動每一個學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和參與的熱情。活動內(nèi)容設(shè)計符合學(xué)生學(xué)情,突出本課時重難點,學(xué)生在完成各個任務(wù)的過程中,一步步達到本節(jié)課的教學(xué)目的。
2.如果能更合理地編排各環(huán)節(jié)教學(xué)內(nèi)容,課堂效率應(yīng)該會更高。
五、創(chuàng)新之處
本節(jié)課我嘗試著從學(xué)生角度設(shè)計教學(xué)目標,也就是根據(jù)學(xué)生需要什么來設(shè)計合理的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,根據(jù)學(xué)生能做什么確立教學(xué)難點。力求面向全體學(xué)生,避免大而空的教學(xué)目標,盡量做到目標具體化。教學(xué)過程以《新課標》提倡的任務(wù)型教學(xué)模式為主,采用PWP教學(xué)流程,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在做中學(xué)。
