Step 1.Preparation
1.Greetings.
T:Hello,boys and girls.Nice to meet you.
Ss:Nice to meet you,too.
2.Let’s sing:Old Macdonald.
T: First, let’s sing an English song “Old Macdonald”.(Play the video)
Ss:Watch the video and follow the song.
T:Now,questions for you.What kind of animals can you hear in the song?
Ss:Ducks,chicks,dogs,pigs,cows...
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:歌曲熱身,引出話題。復(fù)習(xí)已學(xué)動(dòng)物類單詞,鋪墊新授詞cow。
T:Now,boys and girls.WelcometotheMacdonald’s farm. There are many cute animals on Macdonald’s farm.Let’s go to Macdonald’s farm and see the animals,OK?(PPT顯示本單元主情境圖。)
Ss:OK!
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:設(shè)定主情境,為接下來新詞呈現(xiàn)提供主要背景,并用足教材提供的主情境圖材料。
Step 2.Presentation&Prac-tice
1.Present the new words.
①PPT呈現(xiàn)Macdonald農(nóng)場一角,動(dòng)物被覆蓋,出現(xiàn)小謎語。
T:Guess:It’s black and white.It goes“Moo~Moo~”.What’s this?
Ss:It’s a cow.(跟讀 cow,并進(jìn)行逐個(gè)或小組的操練。)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過小謎語猜動(dòng)物cow,示范動(dòng)物叫聲,為接下來的合作學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)做準(zhǔn)備。
②PPT呈現(xiàn)Macdonald農(nóng)場一角,動(dòng)物被覆蓋,出現(xiàn)兩個(gè)關(guān)鍵詞。
T:Look at the two words:egg,chick.What’s this?
Ss:It’s a hen.(跟讀 hen,并逐個(gè)或小組操練。)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用相關(guān)詞猜動(dòng)物hen,擴(kuò)大學(xué)生詞匯量,并在出示新詞時(shí)進(jìn)行語音知識(shí)滲透,如 pen,ten。
③PPT呈現(xiàn)Macdonald農(nóng)場一角,動(dòng)物被覆蓋,點(diǎn)擊音頻發(fā)出馬的叫聲。
T:Boys and girls,listen,what’s that?( 教師體態(tài)語體現(xiàn)出that。)
Ss:It’s a horse. ( 跟 讀horse,并進(jìn)行逐個(gè)或小組操練。)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:聽馬的叫聲猜動(dòng)物horse,滲透this和that。
④PPT呈現(xiàn)Macdonald農(nóng)場一角,動(dòng)物被覆蓋一部分。
T:Guess:What’s that?
Ss:It’s a sheep. ( 跟 讀sheep并逐個(gè)或小組操練。)
T:And guess,what’s that?
Ss:It’s a goat.( 跟讀 goat,并與sheep對比區(qū)別記憶。)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:看圖片的一部分猜動(dòng)物sheep,以相同方式呈現(xiàn)動(dòng)物goat,對比學(xué)習(xí)。
小結(jié):這一環(huán)節(jié)的四個(gè)新授詞屬同一類,可快速地一起呈現(xiàn)。并且一開始以單數(shù)形式呈現(xiàn),呈現(xiàn)時(shí)讓學(xué)生模仿音頻,使學(xué)生接受最正確、地道的語音輸入。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:此環(huán)節(jié)可在師生活動(dòng)后進(jìn)行生生的Pairwork,學(xué)生發(fā)揮自己的想象力,通過模仿動(dòng)物叫聲、動(dòng)作、外形等讓對方猜是什么動(dòng)物,鞏固所學(xué)新詞。
3.Present the plural form of the words and sentences.
(PPT 呈現(xiàn) Let’s learn 情境圖。)
T:What can you see in this picture?
Ss:3 cows,4 hens,3 horses,4 sheep and 3 goats.
(PPT呈現(xiàn)Macdonald農(nóng)場圖片,農(nóng)場內(nèi)的動(dòng)物由單數(shù)變?yōu)閺?fù)數(shù),以鞏固新授詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。)
T:What are these/those?
Ss:They/These/Those are...
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:呈現(xiàn)四個(gè)新授詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式,強(qiáng)調(diào)sheep單復(fù)數(shù)同形的特殊性,再次區(qū)別goats和sheep。將學(xué)生再次帶到Macdonald農(nóng)場,但動(dòng)物和單詞都由單數(shù)過渡到復(fù)數(shù),主線不變,內(nèi)容由淺入深,學(xué)生容易接受。
4.Listen and imitate.(PPT動(dòng)畫形式出示 Let’s learn課文。)
T:It’s time to listen and imitate.Books out.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過跟讀環(huán)節(jié),一方面規(guī)范學(xué)生的發(fā)音,使其更標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、地道;另一方面再次鞏固四個(gè)新授詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式及其相關(guān)句型。
5.Guessing game(“火眼金睛”,以圖片快閃的形式進(jìn)行游戲)
T:Boysand girls,let’s play a game.
Ss:Great!
T:Are they...?
Ss:Yes,they are.(No,they aren’t.These/Those are...)
T:Now,it’s yourturn.Work in pairs.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過Guessing game鞏固操練單詞、句型的復(fù)數(shù)形式,并讓學(xué)生在語境中體會(huì)理解 they,these,those的不同用法。
6.PPT呈現(xiàn)完整的Old Macdonald農(nóng)場圖。
T:Can you talk about the animals on Macdonald’s farm?Let’s have a try.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在具體情境中模仿操練目標(biāo)語言。
Step 3.Production
1.Group work:Talk about your farms in groups.
T:You all have your own farms.Take out your pictures and talk about your farms with your partners.Your can use the sentence patterns here.(PPT呈現(xiàn)句子框架)

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生課前畫好自己的farm,先在小組里說一說各自設(shè)計(jì)的farm,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作學(xué)習(xí)能力和綜合語言運(yùn)用能力。
2.Report.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生最后給出一個(gè)Report,介紹自己的農(nóng)場。這也是學(xué)生進(jìn)行口頭作文的一種很好的方式,為將來的英文寫作打好基礎(chǔ)。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:既能在課內(nèi)完成課堂作業(yè)本的相關(guān)練習(xí),又能及時(shí)鞏固所學(xué)知識(shí),進(jìn)行聽、說、讀、寫全方位的練習(xí)。

Talk aboutthe farm on P42.
Talk about your own farm with your friends.
