1.T:What did you do last night?
S1:I watched TV.
S2:I did homework.
T:Do you know what I did last night?You can guess.(多名學(xué)生猜測(cè)后,教師揭曉答案)Look at this picture.Last night,I had a dream.I dreamed I was a panda.
T:What did I dream?Let’s watch a video.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)教師夢(mèng)見什么,引出《功夫熊貓》視頻,學(xué)生隨著生動(dòng)活潑的動(dòng)畫故事和歡快的背景配樂很快進(jìn)入夢(mèng)境,初次體會(huì)本課主題“What a dream”。
2.Game:觀看視頻后,課件出示以下圖片,讓學(xué)生看部分圖片猜一猜:What did the panda do in the dream?
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過游戲方式,總結(jié)與檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)視頻內(nèi)容的理解,激發(fā)其學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),也為引出本課主題內(nèi)容作鋪墊。
Step 3.Presentation
1.T:Was my dream funny?
S:Yes.
T:What a funny dream!(說完后板書本課標(biāo)題:What a dream!)
Last night,Wu Yifan had a dream,too.How was the dream?Please look at the picture in Page 38.
讓學(xué)生觀察圖片的同時(shí),回答以下問題:
T:What did Wu Yifan do in picture 1?
Ss:He ran.
T:What did he look like?
Ss:A cheetah.(可能學(xué)生會(huì)回答成tiger或其他動(dòng)物,教師在此時(shí)利用簡(jiǎn)筆畫和Phonics方法教授此單詞,簡(jiǎn)筆畫如下圖)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:掃清閱讀障礙,為更好地學(xué)習(xí)課文作鋪墊。
T:Who was this man in Picture 2?
Ss:His father.
T:WhathappenedtoWu Yifan in Picture 3?
Ss:He fell.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用課文插圖,情境自然引入,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生觀察圖片的能力,指導(dǎo)他們建立生詞與事物表象的聯(lián)系,有助于學(xué)生形成形象思維方式,豐富他們的想象力。
2.首次閱讀:聽錄音,給圖片排序。
再次閱讀:學(xué)生自讀課文,完成以下五個(gè)問題,并在文中畫出答案。
(1) WhodidWuYifan have a race with?
(2)Who ran fast?
(3)What did Robin give Wu Yifan?
(4)What happened when Wu Yifan drank some water?
(5)Why did he wake up?
此環(huán)節(jié)請(qǐng)學(xué)生回答每一個(gè)問題時(shí),教師都會(huì)緊接著問:How do you know that?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說說找出答案的方法。每回答一個(gè)問題,教師則利用思維導(dǎo)圖板書。其中,在回答問題e時(shí),利用簡(jiǎn)筆畫解釋tripped and fell,如圖:

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:應(yīng)用思維導(dǎo)圖在有趣的情境中整體操練和鞏固語言,在單詞、句子和語篇之間建立聯(lián)系,幫助學(xué)生梳理、歸納和總結(jié)知識(shí)點(diǎn),從而促進(jìn)學(xué)生綜合語言運(yùn)用能力的有效提升。
3.第三次閱讀:Read aloud with emotion.(在朗讀中體味文章的情感和內(nèi)涵)
4.第四次閱讀:完成P39練習(xí)。
5.第五次閱讀:看思維導(dǎo)圖復(fù)述課文(教師先示范一次,并給學(xué)生一分鐘時(shí)間討論,再請(qǐng)個(gè)別學(xué)生展示)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過五次不同方式的閱讀,從略讀到精讀,層層遞進(jìn),促進(jìn)學(xué)生對(duì)閱讀材料中語言的吸收,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生創(chuàng)造性地組織語言和輸出信息的能力。
Step 4.Consolidation and extension
1. T:Just now,we have learnt Wu Yifan’s dream.Now let’s talk about our dream.First of all,let me try.此時(shí),再次播放《功夫熊貓》視頻,教師邊看視頻邊配以下旁邊:
I had a dream last night.In my dream,I was a panda.I climbed mountains in the morning.Then I went boating.In the afternoon,I went swimming.Then Uncle Goat took me to the boat.I flew in the sky and I went to the forest.At last,Uncle Goattookmehome.Whata dream!
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師通過為動(dòng)畫配音來講述自己的夢(mèng),從而激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,為接下來學(xué)生即將講述自己的夢(mèng)境起示范作用。
2.讓學(xué)生發(fā)揮想象力,與同伴說說自己做過的夢(mèng),并完成P39的小作文。
3.展示部分學(xué)生的作文,給予有針對(duì)性的評(píng)價(jià)與指導(dǎo)。
Step 5.Summing
教師總結(jié)本課重難點(diǎn),對(duì)學(xué)生當(dāng)天課堂表現(xiàn)給予評(píng)價(jià)。
Step 6.Homework
復(fù)述Wu Yifan和自己的夢(mèng)境。
