It may 3 3 feelings of poor selfrespect or aggressive behavior in some children. According to research on kids and sports, 40,000,000 kids play sports in the US. Of these, 18,000,000 say they have been 4 at or called names while playing sports. This leaves many children with a bad 5 of sports. They think sports are just too aggressive.
Many researchers believe adults, especially parents and coaches, are the main 6 of too much aggression in childrens sports. They believe children 7 aggressive adult behavior. This behavior is then further strengthened through both positive and negative feedback. Parents and coaches are powerful teachers because children usually 8 them. Often these adults behave aggressively themselves, 9 children the message that 10 is everything. Many parents go to childrens sporting events and shout insults (侮辱) at other 11 or cheer when their child behaves 12. As well, children are even taught that hurting other players is 13 or are pushed to continue playing even when they are injured. 14, the media make violence seem exciting. Children watch adult sports games and see violent behavior replayed over and over on television.
As a society, we really need to 15 this problem and do something about it. Parents and coaches 16 should act as better examples for children. They also 17 to teach children better 18. They should not just cheer when children win or act aggressively. They should teach children to 19 themselves whether they win or not. Overcoming Laziness
Laziness is a state of inaction. It is something that you do, not something that you are. Being lazy means you have no 1 to do anything. This is obvious but the mistake that many people make is 2 themselves as someone who is lazy. In this article, I am going to 3 with you something that will help you see this state of 4 in a different way.
Lazy people are often seen as useless. 5, are they really being lazy or are they acting lazy? There is a huge 6 between saying you act lazy sometimes and you are a lazy person. One is suggesting that your laziness is 7 while the other suggests that its permanent. This is the myth of laziness. People who are lazy arent lazy; they 8 are people who are temporarily acting that way.
So what 9 a person to be inactive? The answer is a lack of goals. If you give someone a good enough 10 to do something, he will do it. People who dont seem to do anything just havent found a good enough reason to do anything. 11 students dont study because they dont see the 12 in studying. If you give them a reason, a strong enough reason, they will 13. For example, if you are too lazy to go to the gym, would you go if someone 14 you a million dollars? If you are too lazy to clean out the garage, would someone 15 a gun to your head help you take action? The reason can be positive or 16 as long as its strong enough to induce (引起) action.
The bottom line of how to 17 laziness comes down to finding enough reasons to take action. Action will 18 success while inaction will result in 19. Before you take action though, you need a compelling (令人信服的) reason to do so. To motivate someone who is lazy, what you need to do is to help him find enough 20 to work towards a certain goal.
