一、文體概述

描述性作文是以敘述和描寫為主要表達(dá)方式，以寫人物經(jīng)歷及寫事物的發(fā)展變化等為主要內(nèi)容的文體。此類文體常用第一人稱寫自己的經(jīng)歷，用第三人稱寫他人的經(jīng)歷和事跡。謂語動(dòng)詞一般以過去時(shí)態(tài)為主，其他時(shí)態(tài)為輔。但有時(shí)可根據(jù)行文的需要靈活選用時(shí)態(tài)。

二、常用短語

1. in ones spare/free time 在某人空閑時(shí)間內(nèi)

2. live a ... life過著……生活

3. get along well with 和……關(guān)系融洽

4. take interest in /be interest in 對……感興趣

5. make up ones mind to do sth./be determined to do sth 決心做某事

6. ... is my favourite ……是我最喜歡的

7. take up a job as /work as 從事一份……的工作

8. to ones +（情感）抽象名詞 使某人感到……的是

9. cannot help doing sth 情不自禁做某事

10. be very fond of /be keen on /be crazy about 酷愛

三、常用句式

1. be about to do sth./be doing sth. when ... 就要/正在做某事時(shí)那時(shí)……

2. It occurred to me that... /It struck me that...我突然想起……

3. With time going on /As time went on隨著時(shí)間的推移，……

4. What makes sb.+形容詞+is that ... 使某人……的是……

5. It turned out that ... 結(jié)果是……

四、習(xí)作修改 下列習(xí)作中共有10處語言錯(cuò)誤，每句中最多有兩處。每處錯(cuò)誤涉及一個(gè)單詞的增加、刪除或修改。

Joey was traveling in a train for his parents. All the time he is glancing with joy at his new shoe that his father had bought for him. After some time， he removed his shoes to take him a nap. After waking up， he found one of his shoes missing. He started crying unhappy. His parents tried to comfort him. His father told him it was no use crying but promised that after reaching home， he would buy him a new pair of shoes.

Victor got very excited on hearing his fathers words that he threw other shoe out of the train. Reached the destination， he suddenly found his losing shoe in a basket.

習(xí)作修改

本文描述的是Joey在旅途中，坐火車時(shí)丟失鞋子的故事。

1. for→with 與某人同游，用介詞with。

2. is→was 描述過去發(fā)生的事情，謂語動(dòng)詞應(yīng)相應(yīng)地用過去式。

3. shoe→ shoes 鞋子一般是一雙，用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

4. 去掉take后的him 這里指take a nap（小睡一會(huì)），固定搭配，不能加him。

5. unhappy→unhappily 修飾動(dòng)詞應(yīng)用副詞。

6. but→and 兩句話之間沒有轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系，爸爸告訴Joey哭是沒有用的，然后承諾到家后給他買一雙新的，順承關(guān)系，用and。

7. very→so 后面出現(xiàn)that，構(gòu)成so ... that ... 的句式。

8. 在threw和other中間加上the 特指兩只鞋中另外一只，需要用定冠詞。

9. Reached→Reaching 句子邏輯主語是he，是動(dòng)詞的發(fā)出者，分詞應(yīng)用ing形式。

10. losing→lost 丟失的，用lost而不用losing。

課堂練習(xí)

As a senior three student， I often imagine what I will be doing in the future. Talking of my dream job， I expect to be an English teacher for the following reasons.

First， Im an energetic outgoing girl/boy with great patience. Thats what makes a qualified teacher， in my opinion. Besides， I am crazy about the English language， and I am doing quite well. Above all， teachers are generally respected and well-paid. With two vacations each year， I may enjoy more relaxing time. As a responsible girl/boy， I hope to take up a job which is beneficial to society. Being a good teacher may influence more students to shoulder their responsibilities and contribute to their country.

In short， Ill work even harder to become a popular English teacher.

Among the four seasons in a year， summer is my favorite， which makes me free， excited and energetic.

When summer vacation for us students comes every year， we can do all that we cant do during our school time， going shopping with friends， swimming in warm water and even hiking and camping in the deep valleys， all of which， I think， lead me to full freedom. We can find us in an exciting world every day， with the sun shining brightly， trees growing greenly and flowers coming out with all kinds of colors. Summer makes me full of energy and I feel I have the strength to do the most difficult things in my life.
