李政道圖書館建于上海交通大學(xué)閔行校區(qū)，由諾貝爾物理學(xué)獎(jiǎng)獲得者、著名物理學(xué)家李政道教授擔(dān)任名譽(yù)館長。建筑以“諾貝爾山”為設(shè)計(jì)意象，用李政道先生獲得諾貝爾物理學(xué)獎(jiǎng)的輝煌成就激勵(lì)青年學(xué)生和科技工作者堅(jiān)持不懈、勇攀科學(xué)高峰。建筑的體量、高度、色彩等與周邊的教學(xué)樓群相呼應(yīng)，保持有機(jī)聯(lián)系。本館為上海交通大學(xué)圖書館的理學(xué)分館，同時(shí)還收藏了李政道先生捐贈(zèng)的珍貴檔案藏品8萬余件。館內(nèi)設(shè)有數(shù)字資源中心、李政道先生藝術(shù)作品展等內(nèi)容。開創(chuàng)性地實(shí)現(xiàn)了包括圖書館、檔案館、博物館、科技館和藝術(shù)館在內(nèi)的"五館合一”的功能定位?！?/p>

Tsung Dao Lee Library is located at the Minhang campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.Mr. Tsung Dao Lee, the famous Nobel Prize winner in physics, becomes its honorary director. The concept of the design is "the Mountain of Nobel Prize", aiming to motivate young students and researchers to insist on scientific exploration in order to win new achievements. The dimensions and colour of the library relate to the other surrounding campus buildings. This library serves as the "branch of physics" of the main library on the campus. In the meantime, this library has a collection of over 80,000 donated by Mr. Tsung Dao Lee. There is a digital resource centre and a series of exhibitions in the library, making it a library that combines five functions in one building.□
