如何在口語測試中落實英語學科核心素養(yǎng)

【摘 要】本文以一次9年級期末英語口試測試為例,分析了語言能力、文化意識、思維品質(zhì)和學習能力在口語試題命制中的落實情況,并對英語口語測試題的命制提出了反思和建議。

在《中國學生發(fā)展核心素養(yǎng)》和《普通高中英語課程標準(2017年版)》(以下簡稱“2017年版課標”)相繼頒布后,我國基礎(chǔ)教育課程改革逐步邁向“核心素養(yǎng)”時代。筆者認為,落實英語學科核心素養(yǎng)不僅需要關(guān)注教學,也需要關(guān)注評價方式。英語口語測試(以下簡稱“口試”)是對學生的英語綜合能力進行檢測的一種直接方式。本文以我校的一次9年級期末口試為例,分析學科核心素養(yǎng)在口試中的落實。

一、 試題的設(shè)計思路

本次口試題由9年級組英語教師負責命制,檢查該年級學生的英語口語能力是否已達到《義務教育英語課程標準(2011年版)》(以下簡稱“2011年版課標”)的五級水平,即“能就簡單的話題提供信息,表達簡單的觀點和意見,參與討論;能與他人溝通信息,合作完成任務;能在口頭表達中進行適當?shù)淖晕倚拚?能有效地詢問信息和請求幫助;能根據(jù)話題進行情景對話;能用英語表演短句;能在以上口語活動中做到語音、語調(diào)自然,語氣恰當”。

命題教師選擇了一篇內(nèi)容為尊重人與人之間差異的文章,依據(jù)9年級考生的教學實際,將語篇的文字難度進行了加工,確??谠嚨膶嶋H考查情況與所要考查的語言知識、技能和綜合語言能力具有最大程度的相關(guān)性、代表性??谠嚳偡种禐?0分,分為3項任務,分別是朗讀文章(5分)、回答問題(5分)和話題簡述(10分)。口試文章素材如下。

One afternoon, my son came home from school with a puzzled(困惑的)look on his face. He asked me, “Are all people the same even if their skin color is different?”

I thought for a moment, then I said, “Ill explain, if you can just wait until we make a quick stop at the supermarket. I have something interesting to show you.”

At the supermarket, I told him that we needed to buy some apples. Then we bought some red apples, green apples and yellow apples.

After arriving home, I told Adam, “Its time to answer your question.” I put one of each type of apple on the table: first a red apple, followed by a green apple and then a yellow apple. Then I looked at Adam, who was sitting on the other side of the table.

“Adam, people are just like apples. They come in all different colors, shapes and sizes. See, some of the apples are bruised(有壓痕). On the outside, they may not even look as delicious as the others.” As I was talking, Adam was looking at each one carefully.

Then, I took each of the apples and peeled(削皮)them, placing them back on the table, but in a different place.

“Okay, Adam,tell me which one is the red apple, the green apple and the yellow apple.”

He said,“I cant tell. They all look the same now.”

“Take a bite(咬)of each one. See if that helps you find out which one is which.”

He took big bites, and then a huge smile came across his face.“People are just like apples! They are all different, but once you take off the outside, theyre pretty much the same on the inside.”

“Right.”I agreed,“Just like how everyone has their own personality(個性)but are still basically the same.”
