2. Listen to an English song:What are you doing?
Answer the question:What is Mike doing?
【設(shè)計意圖:教學(xué)開始通過一首歌來活躍課堂氣氛,引領(lǐng)學(xué)生進入英語學(xué)習狀態(tài),同時也引出本節(jié)課的重點——現(xiàn)在進行時。】
Step 2: Presentation
1. Learn :sweep the floor, clean the windows
T:Can you read this phrase?
S:Yes, I can.
T:Read, please.
S:Sweep the floor.
T:Can you sweep the floor?
S:Yes, I can.
T:Ok, sweep the floor, please.What are you doing now?
S:Im sweeping the floor.
The same way to learn: cleans the windows

2. Say a chant:
Doing, doing, what are you doing?
Sweeping, sweeping, sweeping the floor.
Doing, doing, what are you doing?
Cleaning, cleaning , cleaning the windows.
【設(shè)計意圖:學(xué)完本課主要詞組后,通過chant來鞏固,激發(fā)學(xué)生說的欲望?!?/p>
3.教師出示學(xué)生數(shù)學(xué)老師的照片
T:Who is he/she ? What is he/she doing now?
S:Maybe he/she is…
T:Lets call her/him, ok?
教師與電腦打電話。學(xué)習:“maths”“Are you free now?”
【設(shè)計意圖:選用學(xué)生最熟悉的老師的照片,學(xué)生會非常感興趣?!?/p>
4. 教師出示另一組圖片(Snow White,劉翔,喜羊羊,姚明)
T:Look, who are they? What are they doing now? Please choose one and make a telephone call, ok?
Ill give you some sentences. You may use them.
(課件出示打電話常用語)
【設(shè)計意圖:讓學(xué)生嘗試自己用英語打電話,在實踐中進行學(xué)習,才能遇到問題解決問題。教師出示打電話常用語,給學(xué)生幫助的同時,也拓寬學(xué)生的知識面?!?/p>
4. Students make dialogues and act them out.
5.教師出示一張寶寶照片(learn: at home)
T:Whos he? Wheres he now? What is he doing now? Guess.
……
T:Hes my son. Hes at home now. Maybe hes sleeping.
Step 3. practice
1.Listen to the tape answer the questions:
a. Where are Su Hai and Su Yang?
b. What are Su Hai and Su Yang doing?
c. What is Su Hai doing?
d. What is Su Yang doing?
e. What is Nancy doing?

2.Listen and read with the tape.
3.Teacher reads after the students.

Step 4. Extension
任選一個場景編一個對話:
1.星期六你的英語作業(yè)不會做,打電話給你的英語老師求救。
2.星期天,你做完作業(yè),打電話約你的好朋友打籃球。
【設(shè)計意圖:學(xué)是為了用,本節(jié)課學(xué)完之后,創(chuàng)設(shè)這樣的情境,讓學(xué)生自己選擇所喜歡的,小組合作完成任務(wù)?!?/p>
Step 5: Summary
當你想問別人正在干什么時,可以問:What are you doing?
【設(shè)計意圖:回顧總結(jié)本課所學(xué)重點內(nèi)容,幫助學(xué)生理解。】
Step 6: Homework
1.Listen to the tape and read after it.
2.Make call your English teacher or your friends in English.
