智奧會展集團(tuán)最新財報顯示,公司總收入從2019年的11億歐元降至2020年的4.794億歐元。集團(tuán)董事長Olivier Ginon表示:“智奧會展40多年來都保持業(yè)務(wù)增長,在2019年這個高增長年份之后,2020年集團(tuán)出現(xiàn)了史上首次虧損。”
除了疫情帶來的大型聚會限制,一些會展活動本身的周期性也加劇了虧損。其中,智奧會展的“體驗(yàn)性活動”板塊收入為3.092億歐元,同比下降48.5%。“展覽”板塊收入為6800萬歐元,下降70.6%。“場館”板塊收入為1.022億歐元,下降70.1%。2020年,公司旗下場館正常運(yùn)營的時間僅為八周。
Severe slowdown for GL events
At the end of 2020, the revenue of GL events amounted to 479.4 million, down from more than 1.1 billion in 2019. Olivier Ginon, GL events Groups chairman commented: “Following the quality year of 2019 that enabled us to achieve revenue of more than 1.1 billion, maintaining the trajectory of 40 years of growth, in 2020 GL events recorded declines in revenue and earnings, the first loss in its history.” Profitability was also impacted by the seasonal nature of the activity over the period as the epidemic evolved.
The GL events LIVE division had revenue of 309.2 million, down 48.5% from 2019. GL events EXHIBITIONS had revenue of 68.0 million, down sharply (-70.6%). GL events VENUES had revenue of 102.2 million, down 70.1%. During the year, the Group was able to freely operate its sites in Europe with no restrictions for a period of just eight weeks.
