The application of cooperative learning in College English Reading Teaching

一、Introduction

In 1970s,the first application of cooperative learning in American education and was widely circulated and perfect.The concept of cooperative learning is defined by a famous educator Tan Wang as:On the basis of high quality learning,the students' interaction is the main form,and the result of group performance is the evaluation result.Finally,the teaching mode of the common learning goal is achieved.College English reading teaching requires higher level of English,more extensive knowledge and higher ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing in English.So in College English Teaching in the application of cooperative learning model is necessary.On the basis of traditional classroom teaching,it is also an important method of College English teaching.Therefore,this paper explores the application of cooperative teaching based on the two basic teaching modes of classroom teaching and network teaching.

二、Cooperative learning theories

At the end of the event,the group selected a person to make a summary statement or record the results of the study.In the end,the group's study results were jointly judged and talked in the whole class,the effect of the final study was integrated,and the goal of "exchanging ideas and optimizing the scheme of each individual" was achieved.

三、 The application of cooperative learning in College English Reading Teaching

(一)Network cooperative teaching in cooperative learning

As the name suggests,College English reading cooperative learning in the teaching of the cooperation network is in the teaching process of College English reading,using multimedia and network information technology,realize the inter temporal teaching of English reading teaching model.In this mode the student exchange up to obstacles,because there is no face to face communication,some introverted and shy in the expression of the students can also in this scenario,daring to speak their own ideas,so that classroom communication more accessible,the learning effect is more obvious.

(二)Classroom teaching in the cooperative learning

Cooperative learning in the classroom teaching refers to the traditional mode of teaching in which we form a group,to explore the form of the target class.In the teaching of College English reading,the most common types of cooperative teaching are:two types of free grouping and regulation.If you press the mode of cooperation,there are group discussion,role performance,role reading and joint research.The benefits of this cooperation are:in the face of face to face communication scenarios,students can more vividly express their views.For students with a rich body language,eager to express their views,they will get everyone's attention more quickly,so as to achieve more efficient communication.Team members in this way of communication will be more exchanges of their own feelings,sublimation cooperation model.

(三)The blended teaching of network cooperation and class cooperation

According to the research results of Shao Qinyu and He Li,the mixed teaching can be obtained through the following four modules:first,grouping and task allocation.Firstly,grouped by grouping principle,and secondly,for ease of discussion,the topic is simple and to facilitate the discussion the discussion in class,and complex process,results uncertain problem using network are discussed.Two,network platform.Can set up the resource search function,learning achievement assessment function,learning process monitoring system and exchange discussion plate.This platform mainly solves the students' higher order problems.Three,classroom platform.Can set the classroom resources,classroom assessment,classroom supervision and classroom discussion four plates.This platform mainly solves the students' low order problems.Four,summary of the results.This step is mainly to the College English reading of the network cooperation and the classroom cooperation of the mixed teaching achievement record and consolidate,make the teaching achieve better effect.

四、 Summary

Cooperative learning,as a kind of advanced and practical teaching method,can be widely applied to college English reading teaching.And network cooperative teaching and classroom cooperation teaching each have advantages and disadvantages,study found that,the network and classroom cooperative hybrid teaching more teaching effect,so in College English reading teaching should more to promote the teaching mode.

摘要:合作學習是相對于獨立學習的一種小組合作學習的學教模式。在實際應用的過程中,一般來說,合作學習分為傳統的課堂合作教學、利用網絡進行網絡合作教學和兩者混合的三種教學模式。本文根據這三種應用模式,分析了各種教學應用模式下大學英語閱讀教學的利弊,并對此作出總結。
