【教材分析】

冀教版《英語》四（下）Unit 3 Lesson 13 How old are you?圍繞“詢問年齡”話題展開。學(xué)生以前接觸過這個句型，通過本節(jié)課的再學(xué)習(xí)延伸到句型“When is yourbirthday? My birthday is December 25.”，進(jìn)一步提高運(yùn)用英語的能力。

【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】

1.能聽、說、讀、寫單詞am，when,birthday（重點(diǎn)）。

2.能運(yùn)用句型“How old are you? I’m ten years old.When is your birthday? My birthday is December 25.”詢問年齡和生日，并能做出回答（難點(diǎn)）。

【教學(xué)過程】

Step 1.Warm-up

1.Greeting.

T：Hello! Boys and girls,how are you?

2.Sing a song together:“If you’re happy”.

3.評價說明：

If you do well,your group will get one flower.

設(shè)計意圖：用簡短的課前問候化解師生間的生疏感，用歌曲激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，用評價激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情。

Step 2.Lead-in

PPT shows a photo of the teacher.

T:Look at the screen!This is me.Can you guess?How old am I?You can guess from 25 to 30.Three chances.

S1:23.

T:You can say Miss Rao is 23 years old.

S1:Miss Rao is 23 years old.

T:No you’re wrong.(雙手交叉，做錯誤的動作)It’s so young.Next one.

S2:Miss Rao is 28 years old.

T:Yes.I’m 28 years old.Can you tell me how old you are？

S2:I’m ten years old.

T:When is your birthday?

S2:Oh， Ican’tsay in English.

T:It doesn’t matter.Today we’ll learn Lesson 13 How old are you?And how to say when your birthday is？

Write the title and read it.

設(shè)計意圖：出示教師本人照片，激發(fā)學(xué)生的好奇心，為其創(chuàng)造真實(shí)的語言環(huán)境，讓學(xué)生在生活化、情境化的語境中開始語言的學(xué)習(xí)。

Step 3.Learn by ourselves

1.First,listen to the tape,circle the words and sentences you don’t know.

Second, listen again, pay attention to the unknown knowledge.

設(shè)計意圖：以聽力的方式整體輸入，讓學(xué)生初步感知內(nèi)容，通過初聽、再聽，關(guān)注圈出的內(nèi)容，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的聽力習(xí)慣和自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。

2.Learn in groups.

Please learn unknown knowledge in groups.

Show theunknown knowledge to the class.

設(shè)計意圖：通過組內(nèi)互學(xué)，讓所有學(xué)生參與其中，全班解決提交的問題，激發(fā)積極學(xué)習(xí)、主動探索新知的興趣，培養(yǎng)自主學(xué)習(xí)、解決問題的能力。

3.Learn the new words and sentences.

T:Who can read this word?

S3:Am.

T:Follow her.

Ss:Am.

T:Can you make a sentence after me?I am 28 years old.I am a girl.

S4:I am ten years old.

T:How old are you?(板書）

S5:I am nine years old.

（同樣的方式教when,birthday，引出句型“When is your birthday？My birthday is...”）

設(shè)計意圖：詞不離句，句不離境，有層次地向?qū)W生輸入語言，巧妙地引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在語境中學(xué)習(xí)新知，讓學(xué)生自然地開口說英語，從而使整個教學(xué)過程連貫自然。

Step 4. Cooperative learning

T:First,read after me.Second, read the text by yourselves，try to answer the following questions，then discussin groups：

How old is Danny?

How old is Steven?

When is your Steven’s birthday?

設(shè)計意圖：引導(dǎo)學(xué)生帶著問題讀課文，回答問題，了解課文大意，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生提取關(guān)鍵信息的技能。

Third,make dialogues after the teacher in your groups.Then try to show to the class（.在全班范圍內(nèi)進(jìn)行交流）

T:What’s your name?

S6:My name is Li Dong.

T:How old are you?

S6:I’m ten years old.

T:When is your birthday?

S6:My birthday is May 1st.

各組按照上述示范，參考下圖在組內(nèi)進(jìn)行對話練習(xí)。

設(shè)計意圖：通過運(yùn)用新句型，從組內(nèi)自由模仿對話到全班自由采訪，既讓學(xué)生鞏固了所學(xué)的語言知識，又為學(xué)生提供了充分的表達(dá)機(jī)會，進(jìn)一步體現(xiàn)了以學(xué)生為中心的教學(xué)理念。

Step 5.Practice

1.教師用 PPT出示照片。

Hi！This is my friend.She is 30 years old.Her birthday is July 12.She likes dancing and going shopping.

PPT 出示“My friend”。

Hello！My friend is ____ .She/He is ____years old.His/Her birthday is ____.學(xué)生先組內(nèi)口頭完成，然后完成填空。

2.學(xué)生自由介紹自己的同學(xué)或朋友。

設(shè)計意圖：由基本句型的學(xué)習(xí)過渡到用短文敘述，不僅拓展了學(xué)生的知識面，也給其提供了操練所學(xué)語言的空間，讓學(xué)生有話想說，有話可說，有話能說，使知識回歸生活。

Step 6.Summary

設(shè)計意圖：利用語言評價和獎勵小紅旗對學(xué)生進(jìn)行評價，有利于激發(fā)學(xué)生參與學(xué)習(xí)活動的積極性。在這一環(huán)節(jié)中，不僅對整節(jié)課中各小組的表現(xiàn)做了及時反饋，也巧妙地利用小紅旗復(fù)習(xí)了“how many”句型和數(shù)詞,從而不僅使評價發(fā)揮了其應(yīng)有的功能，還實(shí)現(xiàn)了課堂資源的整合與利用。

采訪你的家人或朋友。

設(shè)計意圖：讓英語知識生活化，真正做到學(xué)以致用。

教師播放視頻，和同學(xué)們一起唱“How old are you?How old are you?I am three...”，在愉快的歌曲中鞏固所學(xué)內(nèi)容。
