學習對象分析:六年級學生大部分都能用簡單的英語談論一些話題,但已經(jīng)不像低年級時那樣爭先恐后地回答問題,個別學生學習英語的興趣也有所下降??梢娊虒W應設計一些直觀的多媒體圖片進行呈現(xiàn)并操練,以吸引學生的注意力。結(jié)合本課教學內(nèi)容,以游戲、競賽的教學方式貫穿整個教學過程,以切合高年級學生爭強好勝的心理特點,同時增強他們學習英語的興趣。
學習內(nèi)容分析:本課是冀教版小學英語六年級第八冊第一單元第五課。之前,學生已經(jīng)了解了一些關(guān)于運動的詞匯和短語,本節(jié)課繼續(xù)學習關(guān)于A basketball Game 的有關(guān)內(nèi)容。內(nèi)容接近學生的生活,學生感到非常有趣,聯(lián)系學生自己喜愛的運動員和比賽項目來練習句型,既能提高他們的學習興趣,又可活躍課堂氣氛,從而降低難度,使學生覺得簡單易懂。
教學目標:
語言知識方面:通過本課學習使學生能認讀、掌握、靈活運用player、 team、 game、 win、 lose等詞匯。
語言技能方面:能用所學詞匯和句子簡單描述一場比賽。如:Whats the score? Its ___ to ____. We win. We lose.
情感態(tài)度方面:通過游戲、競賽等多種活動,激發(fā)和培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的興趣,讓學生充分體驗成功的快樂,增強學好英語的自信心。同時激勵比賽落后者,使其不氣餒。
學習策略方面:學生能積極與同伴合作,共同完成學習任務;學生在學習中能集中注意力,積極運用所學英語進行表達和交流,能簡單談論有關(guān)比賽的話題;能注意觀察生活中使用的簡單英語。
教學分析:
教學重點:要求學生認讀、掌握、運用本課詞匯player、 team、 game、 win、 lose 。
教學難點:綜合運用所學句子描述一項運動比賽。如:Whats the score? Which team wins? Which team loses?
教學準備:多媒體課件、錄音機。

一、Class opening and review
1. Greeting.
T: Hello, everyone!How are you today?Are you happy now?I am very happy. Because I bought a beautiful coat

2. Sing a song. “ Oh,what did you do?”
設計意圖:Free talk 及之后的歌曲,使學生在輕松愉快的氛圍中開始本節(jié)課的學習。同時談論的內(nèi)容和所唱歌曲正好復習了上一節(jié)課的重點內(nèi)容。學生不知不覺地進入學習狀態(tài)。
3. Play a game.
(To review the opputations with pictures.)
T:You are blue team and you are orange team. What is he or she? Say it quickly. (第一次比賽兩組搶答)
T: Whats the score? Its ____ to ____.You win. You lose( 板書win和 lose 領(lǐng)讀)
設計意圖:通過兩組搶答比賽,既復習了關(guān)于職業(yè)的詞匯,又能引出本次課所要學習的player、 lose 和win等詞匯。過渡自然,且在上課開始就充分調(diào)動起學生學英語的積極性。
二、New Concepts.
Part 1 player team and game
1. Demonstrate.
(1)a. Introduce “player” with Yao Mings picture.
Use other playerspictures,lead students say “ He She is a ping-pong soccer badminton basketball player.”
T: Who is your favourite player?
C: My favourite player is _____. He is a _____ player.
設計意圖:用學生熟悉且喜歡的運動員來練習剛剛學習的單詞和句子。 學生對于自已喜歡的話題樂于張口說。
b.引導學生總結(jié)出 “某些動詞后加er 表示…的人”(第二次比賽兩組輪流答)。For example: play-player teach- teacher.
T: Whats the score? Its ___ to ___.You win. You lose.
T: Read it together.(多媒體出示總結(jié)出的所有此類詞)
設計意圖:通過比賽的形式總結(jié)歸納某些動詞加上er后表示…的人。使學生對此構(gòu)詞法有了一定的了解。這有利于學生記憶單詞。同時對于學生上課開始時剛學習的win 、lose 又是一次強化記憶和使用。
(2)Introduce “team” with a picture of Yao Mings team.
T: What does the letter “ea” sound?
T:在哪些單詞中ea還讀[i:]呢?(第三次比賽兩組輪流回答)

T: Read it together.(多媒體出示總結(jié)出的所有這類詞)
設計意圖:在教授單詞時滲透一些讀音規(guī)則,以比賽的形式讓學生自己總結(jié)以前學過的詞,可以充分集中精神,且培養(yǎng)歸納復習舊知識的良好學習習慣。比賽結(jié)束后,教師用已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)過的句子“Whats the score?”提問,引導學生說出“Its ____ to _____. We win. We lose.”
(3)Introduce “ game” with a picture of Yao Mings team playing a basketball.
T: Here is a basketball game. Do you want to watch?
T: How many teams in a basketball game?
C:Two teams.
2. Practice.
T: Talk about these pictures. Eg: This is Yao Ming. He is a basketball player. He plays on a basketball team.This is Yao Mings team. Yao Mings team is playing a basketball game.
Choose 3~5 volunteers to introduce these pictures.
設計意圖:綜合運用所學詞匯,培養(yǎng)學生看圖說話、用英語進行表達和交流的能力。
part 2 At the game
T: Look! Yao Mings team is playing basketball game. How many teams in a basketball game? What are they? One team is White team and the other team is orange team.The game is very fun. And the people say,“Go,Yao Ming,Go,Rockets .”Do You know the meaning?
T:Who gets the ball and puts the ball in the net?So

設計意圖:用姚明正在比賽的圖片來介紹一些常用的有關(guān)比賽場面的用語,為之后處理課文第二部分的內(nèi)容做鋪墊。學生對真實的比賽很有興趣,能吸引學生的注意力。

設計意圖:第一部分相對簡單。提出問題學生回答,主要訓練學生的聽力能力和對課文內(nèi)容的理解能力。

設計意圖:第二部分內(nèi)容多,相對較難。問題提出后要給學生一定的時間考慮、討論。小組討論的形式有利于培養(yǎng)學生的團隊合作和互幫互助的精神,這也可以使一些膽小的學生在小組內(nèi)開口說英語。
(2) Introduce these sentences. “Whats the score?” “They jump up and down.” “ Go,Bob” “Go,Blue team.”
設計意圖:對剛才問題中沒有出現(xiàn)的內(nèi)容,找出學生不容易理解的進行解釋,避免學生在學習中存在死角。
(3) Follow the tape.
三、Class closing.
T: Today we have learned something about a basketball game. Now for your homework:
1. Read the text fluently,and introduce the game to your partner.
2. Activity Book N3.
設計意圖:六年級課文比較長,課上沒有很多的時間去讀課文,所以課下一定要給學生布置聽、讀的作業(yè)來熟悉課文內(nèi)容,同時培養(yǎng)學生的朗讀能力。
教學反思:
1.本節(jié)課重、難點把握的比較好,達到了預期的教學目標。學生對要求掌握的五個四會單詞和句子掌握得都比較扎實。
2.教學過程設計巧妙。環(huán)節(jié)環(huán)環(huán)相扣,且環(huán)節(jié)間的過渡非常自然。通過兩組之間的多個比賽來貫穿整節(jié)課,充分調(diào)動了每位學生的積極性,充分操練了重點句型:Whats the scores?Its_____ to _____.We win. We lose.等。學生在游戲中、比賽中學習、掌握了英語知識。
3.本節(jié)課注重了發(fā)揮學生的主觀能動作用。學生會的教師不教,學生能會的教師不教。同時注重了課文細節(jié)的處理,使學生學習不留死角。
4.不足:第二部分的問題最好分兩次呈現(xiàn),可以避免個別學困生存在畏難情緒。家庭作業(yè)處理的有些草率。
